DETROIT – The Detroit Lions released a full list of players who will begin the season on their practice squad.
Detroit cut the roster down to 53 players on Tuesday after finishing the preseason with a 2-1 record.
Several players who ended up on the wrong side of the bubble will remain with the organization on the practice squad.
The Lions also scooped up a pair of veteran wide receivers who were cut by other teams: Tim Patrick and Allen Robinson.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the 16th and final spot on the practice squad will be taken by wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones, who was signed by the Lions in the offseason but didn’t make the 53-man roster.
